*Book two in the Sugartown Series!*
The last thing Holly Harris expected was to wind up nineteen, knocked-up, and all alone. When Coop left to pursue his dreams of becoming a rock god, he left a tiny piece of him behind.
Holly wishes he hadn’t.
Jackson wishes he hadn’t.
Jackson Rowe tried filling the void his family left by drinking, screwing around, and leaving a string of heartbroken women in his wake. Moving back to Sugartown should have been easy, but he hadn’t counted on the fact his sometimes attraction to Holly would still be alive and kicking—and he sure as hell hadn’t counted on her being pregnant with another man’s baby.
They drive one another crazy, and yet they can’t stay away.
When old flames resurface, and even older wounds are torn open, can two people so similar make it work? Or will their stubbornness only drive them further apart?
*Content Warning. Intended for a mature 18+ audience. Contains angst, a crap-tonne of profanity, short-tempered Australian wildlife, and some very pregnant sex.
I live for love/hate relationships. I think it’s the angst lover in me. Well I got that and a whole lot more when I returned to Sugartown!!! I could not wait to return to my beloved town and hear Holly and Jackson’s story. Carmen Jenner kicked ass with Welcome to Sugartown, so I jumped on that paddie wagon real quick!! This book had me laughing my ass off and so freakin heated up that I needed a cold shower!!!
Enjoy Your Stay begins right where Welcome to Sugartown leaves off. Things between Elijah and Ana are still going strong. Ana’s sexy arse cousin Jackson is there to stay and with his past history with Holly, the sexual tension between the two of them was hotter than a flippin exploding volcano!
Holly Harris is a spitfire. She is hilarious, outspoken and oh so very horny!!! Combine that with her pregnancy hormones, and you are in for a freakin sexy as hell story. We know her as Ana’s best friend from Sugartown #1 and I couldn’t wait to read more about her! Being 19 and pregnant with her ex’s baby does not seem to stop Jackson from making his moves.
“I want to dry hum everything that moves. He should be afraid. Especially because I’m in his bed, it’s the middle of the night, I just realised I’m not wearing knickers, and his sexy laugh makes me want to rub myself all over him like a cat in heat.”
Jackson returns to Sugartown after the death of his mother. He is the town manslut and completely turns all the ladies into melted chocolate. He is a walking orgasm, his face, his body, his Johnson. OMG, I want him all for myself!!! He’s always had a thing for his Hols and he doesn’t seem to be backing down this time.
I LOVE HIM!!! I think I would just dry hump his leg and wrap my body around him like a snake! The things he says, does—OMG, I want a Jackson!!! Here’s just a snippet of my favorite Jacksonisms:
“Sweetheart, stop thinking and just feel.”
“We know you’re gaggin’ for it again, sweetheart, and it’s only a matter of time before you cave.”
“Some men do tits, some do legs, but I’m an arse man, and fuck me, does Holly have the kind of arse you can worship all night long and into the day.
The push and pull and ups and downs and literally ins and outs shot my angsta-meter through the roof. I could not get enough of these two. But nothing is rainbows and roses. Holly’s ex, Cooper, returns and literally shakes things up making my heart and emotions all rumbly. Add Jackson’s ex to the picture and you get one big love square… yes, ANGST at it’s finest!!!
Hearing from all my Sugartown friends was fantastic!!! I CANNOT WAIT for the next book Carmen writes. If you’re looking for a hot, steamy sexfest with lots of laughs and hilarious moments, you need to get your hands on Carmen’s latest book!!! You will “Enjoy Your Stay” and never want to leave!!!
About Carmen Jenner
Carmen Jenner is a thirty-something author, doctor, pilot and CIA agent.
She’s also a compulsive, flagrant prevaricator who gets to make things up for a living.
While Sugartown may not technically exist, Carmen grew up in a small Australian town just like it, and just like her characters, she always longed for something more. They didn’t have an Elijah Cade, though. If they did, you can be sure she would have never left.
