We’re baaaaaaaaaaacccckkkkkk!!!! Did you notice we didn’t post this last month *GASP*!!! Life got in the way of enjoying the summer but now we are here and ready to go! We have a few Bookgasms and Blueballs to share with you all today….here we go!!!
Let Love Live by Melissa Collins
I just cannot say enough good stuff about this book! I have been reading this series for over a year now and Melissa’s stories and writing get better and better with each book she puts out. Let Love Live is her first M/M book, it takes us back to the beginning of Shane and Dylan’s relationship as young men and leads up to Dylan and Conner’s story in the present. This book made me laugh and cry…like UGLY cry and I LOVED every minute of it!!!
Changing Forever by Lisa DeJong
Another winning story by Lisa DeJong! The range of emotions that I felt while reading this was unreal. I was happy then I was sad, I would laugh and then I would cry. I just LOVE how Lisa can do this with each and every story she puts out!!
Take by Ella Frank
Ok so it is no secret that Trish and I are on a bit of an M/M kick lately! We LOVED Tate and Logan once again!! So you will probably see this on here again but it is just that good!! A double bookgasm if you will :)
I loved how we picked up right where we left off in Try and get even more of the boys right away. The feelings were intensified this time around and I just didn’t know who was going to break or be strong, Tate and Logan’s story is just….ugh, no words….LOVE IT!!!!
Surviving Raine & Bastian’s Storm by Shay Savage
Just WOW! I am so sorry that I put off reading Surviving Raine for so long!! And to be able to immediately follow it up with Bastian’s Storm made me happy happy happy! I don’t think that I have ever wanted to be in a shipwreck or stranded on a deserted island as badly as I do now :)
This is my least favorite part of this post LOL especially because I am usually the only one with “balls” enough to post my Blueballs. This month is a little different. I didn’t totally dislike these books. I had a few problems with both as far as some writing issues as well and plot and storyline. I like a story that moves & flows nicely….one that isn’t rushed. I think that many of you may still enjoy these books and I encourage you to check them out.
My Forever by JB Mericle
Intrigued and Enchanted by Eva Simone
Fall From India Place by Samantha Young
Anytime Samantha Young writes a book I know I am going to love love love. But Fall From India Place is far beyond what I expected. This was the best book in the Dublin Series, hands down. Samantha Young wrote with her heart on her sleeve. Marco and Hannah’s story touched me in ways I hasn’t expected. It broke my heart, and then it was mended all over again. All the while making my insides hot and bothered. Now that is a Bookgasm.
Marco will blow you away!!! Book boyfriend material times TEN!!
Kendall Grey really out did herself with Hot-Blooded and went all out with this one. This story was kick ass! Her writing pushes the boundaries like no other and she’s not afraid to put it all out there. You just can’t touch her in that department my friends. You want story…plot…angst….sex….. Well, you get that and then some with her story about a girl who is only about one thing and one thing only….protecting her family…no matter what the cost…guns…violence.
Yeah she went there!!!
Why not step out of the box and give this one a try!! I promise it will blow your fucking mind. Holla!!
Review coming soon!!!
Hudson by Laurelin Paige
Well this I just all sorts of awesome. I finished the Fixed Series needed more. I needed to know what the heck was Hudson thinking. And then Laurelin Paige graces us with her literary genius. In Hudson, we get an up close and personal of what is on the mind of this once sick and twisted man and his evil side kick Celia. Do you love him or hate him more after reading Hudson??
Survey says….LOVE!!!!! DING DING DING!!!! Hells to the yeah!! Mint!!! She nailed it. This book needed to happen and I promise you, for anyone who has read the Fixed Series, Hudson is a must!
One of the best Male POV’s I have read.
Last and certainly not least……My Proby.
Breathe With Me
If it’s possible to write a better story than Play With Me than Proby nailed it. Breathe With Me is the best book in the series hands down. Who knew Mark was this tender loving loyal man. Who knew this heart wrenching love story was just waiting to be told. Proby had me in tears at Chapter 1 and that’s when I knew…Here we go again, we were in for a Proby classic!
This series right here, is by far my favorite. Not just one of….it’s “My Favorite” and I will read it and reread it always. Mark and Meredith were amazeballs. So romantic, so loving and off the charts sex in this one ladies!! But then again Proby never disappoints in that department.
Dub me “The Proby Whore”
I am very sorry. I have been reading WAY too many good books! I got NUTTIN HONEY!!!! HOLLA!!!!!!!!!!!!
Taming the Storm by Samantha Towle
This book… holy HELL was it hot!!! Samantha kicked ASS with Tom’s story and I totally fell head over heels in love with him!!! It had EVERYTHING I look for in a book… angst, hot as hell Book Boyfriend, a strong leading heroine and bucket loads of twists and turns. You don’t want to miss this book!!! FANFREAKINTASTIC!!!
Maybe Maby by Willow Aster
I loved everything that Willow Aster writes and this book was FABULOUS!! She’ll have you laughing, crying, and cheering for these characters. Maby and Coen are just incredible together and you will fall in love with Coen! Go one click!!!
Decker’s Wood by Kirsty Dallas
Two words. One click. Decker is just WOW!!! He works in porn ladies!!! He is just HOT!!! Not only is this book hilarious, it was steamy, and I couldn’t put it down!!! And you will love Andi!!! Don’t wait another second!!! Go read it!!!
Playing in the Rain by Jane Harvey-Berrick
This book was beautiful. An experience. It was a novella that blew my mind. You will fall in love, laugh, cry and be reminded to appreciate life and all the things you take for granted. I loved this story. Ava and Cody are perfect together and I didn’t want the story to end!! Jane is a fantastic author and this book reminded me how talented she is!!!
Come to Me Softly by A.L. Jackson
I adore A.L. Jackson, so it came as no surprise that I LOVED this book!! What an incredible follow up to Come to Me Quietly. I cried and cried and just could not stop reading. Fantastic!!! Don’t miss this series!!!
Infinity + One by Amy Harmon
Last, but certainly not least was Infinity + One. God can Amy Harmon write. It’s poetic, a slice of heaven. Flawless, incredible. I was The highs, lows, ups, downs—you will be amazed. The story of Bonnie and Finn (AKA Clyde) will blow you away! Loved it!!!
Carnage by Lesley Jones
I am sharing my first blueball. Lots of people really loved this book, but it just wasn’t for me. I didn’t connect with the characters and the storyline. You may disagree as it has plenty of good reviews, so check it out and decide for yourself.
