The biggest mistake Jade Miller ever made was agreeing to
a date with the World’s Biggest Jackass…
Stood up, fuming and, frankly, done with men, Jade’s not about to forgive or
Except, with the voices in her head giving her conflicting ideas, and the man
himself showing his smart, sexy, swoony side, she’s having a hard time staying
The stupidest thing Declan Young ever did was forget to make that phone
“Hey, I’m running a little late” could have saved him a year of
frustration—sexual and otherwise—at the hands of a certain pink-haired
All he wants is another chance, another night—the possibility of making it
right. Which he’s determined to get.
The craziest thing is they’re crazy about each other…
Jade would rather believe that they’re enemies.
Declan knows they’re something more.
And that makes them both feel a little bit crazy…
What happens when you hate someone that doesn’t hate you?? This story is exactly that. Jade hate Declan after an unfortunate incident that happened a year ago. She calls him Jackass because she thinks that is exactly what he is.
He was still Declan Young. Stander-upper. Jackass. Closet fucker.
Jade is a spunky chick, with her bubble gum pink hair and her array of colorful heels. She’s pierced and tatted and would make an AMAZING best friend, just ask Brighton (go and read The Brightest Star by B. Cranford, trust me!) She has demons that haunt her, no not the literal kind LOL but the kind that bring her down, voice their own negative opinions in her head and keep her from moving forward and accepting good things in her life.
Declan…wow, this man? Simply amazing. He is patient, funny, sexy etc etc. He doesn’t give up on Jade like EVER. He is always there when she needs him, gives her space when she needs it and he is always calm with her. I mean, sure he gets worked up and frustrated but he’s never nasty to her, it was really special for me to see that in a book. The care he takes with her was sweet.
Jade and Declan (Freckles and Jackass) have a playfulness to their relationship, or lack thereof to start. Jade is determined to condemn Declan to a life without her, she holds on to her hatred of what he did so long ago. It was really frustrating for me as I read, Declan is this simply terrific guy that I was already in love with and Jade couldn’t be bothered….she wanted to be bothered, sure, but she never gave in. Well, never say never right?
Because he was the non-jackassiest jackass she’d ever met, and she wanted him to know that she appreciated that about him.
Jade drove me nuts, but Declan kept me sane. I could not get enough of these two. Their friendship, feelings, relationship, jesting, sexting…all of it was great. It was a pleasure to get to know them. And for those of you that read The Brightest Star you are going to want to read A Little Too Crazy as well for more Sebastian and Brighton!!!
