Kerris Moreton should be the happiest woman in the world: She has a successful business and is about to start the family she’s always wanted. But the man of her dreams-the one whose green eyes see straight into her soul and whose gentle hands make her body hum with pleasure-is not hers.
Each secret moment with Walsh Bennett serves to remind Kerris of what she’s missing. And every stolen hour makes it harder to see her future without him. But being with Walsh would betray a sacred promise and upend her perfect life. When tragedy strikes, the razor’s edge between love and loyalty grows sharper than ever. And Kerris must decide where her heart will fall . . .
Don’t miss the first installment in The Bennett’s Series…When You Are Mine. Available now!
This book….this book right here was absolute perfection! If When You Are Mine got me out of a book slump then this one will be my go to as a re-read. Sooooooo much happens this time around in Loving You Always and I really don’t want to give anything away. Just know that I LOVED it and it was a beautiful way for Kerris and Walsh’s story to end. Here are a few tidbits from the story that I wanted to share with you.
Kerris still thinks about Walsh which made me SUPER happy!!
“…she missed Walsh. So much. It was a private ache she rarely even acknowledged to herself.”
I still didn’t like Cam this time around….I grew to like him a little, however I am still #TeamWalsh….
“Yeah, you’re right. You’re not in love with two guys. Just one.” Cam strode to the door, launching his next words over his shoulder like a torpedo. “Too bad he’s not your husband.”
….and this is why I swoon over Walsh
He approached her at the rail. Their eyes locked and held, that same electric current passing between them that had fried his brain the night he’d met her. That had branded his soul with her and only her ever since.”
Kerris has grown a lot from the first story. She has matured in my eyes and is a much stronger woman than I thought she could be. This is from a scene with Sofie
There was a time when this woman’s words had cut her down, had reiterated all the lies Kerris had told herself and bought lock, stock, and barrel all her life. But something had changed.
And of course back to Walsh….always back to Walsh <3
“It doesn’t matter what you’ve done, or how your choices separated us. I don’t know how to not love you. And a choice between you and Cam is no choice at all.”
This book took some turns that I didn’t expect. I laughed, I screamed, and I cried. The Bennett Series is a must read for me and I hope you have met Kerris, Cam and Walsh. If not…what are you waiting for?? The third book in the series will be released in early 2015….*drumming fingers* I’m waiting boo! MUAH!!
Be sure to read Book #1 in the Bennett Series first!
Kerris Moreton knows how to make things work. Bounced from foster home to foster home as a kid, she adapted; when opportunity arose, she thrived. Now, about to open her own business and accept a marriage proposal, Kerris is ready to build the life she’s always wanted. The only thing missing? A passionate connection with her would-be fiancé, Cam. Kerris wants to believe that sparks are overrated-until Walsh Bennett lights her up like the Fourth of July.
. . . but what about love?
As one of the East Coast’s most eligible bachelors, Walsh enjoys financial independence, fulfilling work with his family’s nonprofit, and plenty of female attention. But lately he’s been distracted by the one woman he can’t have. Lovely to look at and even sweeter to know, Kerris is the soul mate Walsh never thought he would find. The problem is, his best friend found her first . . .
About the Author
There were several signs that Kennedy Ryan would be a writer, but making up stories with a mop as her long-haired heroine while the other kids played kick ball may have been the most telling. After graduating with her journalism degree from UNC-Chapel Hill (GO, HEELS!), she found various means of gainful employment having absolutely nothing to do with said degree, but knew she would circle back to writing, in some form or fashion. Some day. After years of working and writing for non-profit organizations, she finally returned to her first love – telling stories.
Kennedy writes contemporary romance and women’s fiction. She always gives her characters their happily ever after, but loves to make them work for it! It’s a long road to love, so sit back and enjoy the ride.
In an alternative universe and under her government name Tina Dula, she is wife to the love of her life, mom to to her son, and a friend to those living with autism through her foundation Myles-A-Part.
