Seasoned social worker Kayla Brooks has dealt with her fair share of difficult situations, but nothing could have prepared her for the likes of Dean Wyatt, head of Wyatt House Group Home for Boys. When a case unexpectedly brings Kayla to his door in the middle of the night, sparks fly. With a piercing gaze and heavily inked skin, Dean looks like a walking wet dream.
Until he turns out to be an asshole.
Dean Wyatt has always kept those around him at arm’s length. Secrets lurk beneath his tattoos—a traumatic past known to very few.
Forced to work together in order to help two vulnerable boys, Kayla slowly penetrates Dean’s tough exterior. Along the way the two discover something they’ve each been missing—but only time will tell if they can overcome the painful past that’s kept anyone from bringing true happiness into Dean’s world.

Jen and Roxie’s Review
We all get book recommendations and sometimes they remain on the back burner while we’re trying to get through our TBR’s. But after reading the sample of Angel of Redemption by JA. Little we just couldn’t stop till we finished the 600+ pages of perfection!!!
OH.MY.GAWD!!! BOOKGASM! Drop everything and read!
Angel of Redemption was fantastic. We devoured every word and loved everything about it!
Kayla Brooks is a dedicated social worker who works diligently to watch over the kids she supervises. When the day arrives that one of her cases brings her to Wyatt House, she meets “asshole” Dean Wyatt, and sparks fly, the air sizzles. Fireworks explode all around them, yet there are so many obstacles in their path. Aside from the fact that they have to work so closely together, the demons of Dean’s past have kept him from letting anyone in.
We fell for Dean HARD. God, he is just pure badass deliciousness.
“He has a sexy little smirk on his face that makes me want to lick him. I wonder what he’d do if I just ran my tongue across his face.”
We thought about licking his face, and everywhere else, throughout the whole book. SWOON!
And Kayla. Wow. We loved her too. If we were ok with anyone getting to keep Dean for themselves, it was Kayla. She was strong, caring, protective and spunky.
“I like touching you and kissing you… I like tasting you. And if I could live inside you, I would.”
But can he let her in? Can he push aside the Can he push aside the guilt and fear?
“The intensity of emotion that burns through my body is overwhelming, the urge to feel her, undeniable.”
J.A. Little is an author to watch. We were blown away with her ability to have us feel so many emotions. We fell in love with the secondary characters as well. At the end we felt like we were saying goodbye to friends and family. The epilogue was one of the best epilogues we ever read and we left Wyatt house behind with a huge smile on our faces.
About J.A. Little
J.A. Little grew up knowing she wanted to be a writer. Since the age of eight she’s been creating stories and poems, most of them with a dark twist. But then life happened, and writing took a back seat. After getting her degrees in mental health and social work, she kind of stumbled back into writing and has fallen in love again. She still likes to focus on the gritty aspects of human nature but adds the softer sides to offer a nice balance.Other than writing, her time is devoted to her husband and children.
