On the streets of New Orleans, sins are committed every night.
My name is Jett Colby and I save tarnished souls.
In the downtown, under the glittery lights of Bourbon Street, I found her in cheap lingerie, flaunting her body for callous men and money.
From the lace of her cheap lingerie, to her garter belt, I knew she had to be saved.
She had to be mine.
Broke and destitute with no way of out, she had no choice but to come to me and into my club.
She had no other choice but to become a Jett Girl.
But see, that’s the thing about this city; you might think that under the dazzling lights and illusion of salvation, she’s the one that needed saving.
When the glitter fades and the dirt is washed away, the one worth saving just might be me.*Formerly known as Becoming a Jett Girl. Add it to your TBR–> http://bit.ly/2foiqfA
Bourbon Sins (formerly Becoming a Jett Girl) has sexy men, gorgeous women, and takes place in a gorgeous city (New Orleans is one of my favorite places ever!) Jett Colby is a powerful man with an unorthodox business, a gentleman’s club with a higher purpose. His goal is to save, protect, train and respect all of the women that he takes in. At first, I’ll be honest…I did not like him. He seemed like the over done alpha billionaire with a contract at the ready. Yeah, I was wrong and now I love him ;) Once you get into his innermost thoughts, he will consume you too.
Goldie consumed my thoughts and there was no blocking her out.
Goldie is a unique character, her career leaves little to be desired but she has this strong will about her and a take no shit attitude. She is feisty and foul mouthed, my kind of girl! This once in a lifetime opportunity comes along and she finds herself living under Jett Colby’s roof, his rules, under his constant supervision.
The story was a slow build, the anticipation was always building, making me want more. Jett seemed to be the master of this slow anticipation, Goldie was a puddle for this man and his ways. Trust me when I say that you will NEVER listen to Sail by Awolnation the same again. Play it when it is mentioned in the book….take my work for it, holy…effing….hell!!!
I don’t play games. I take what I want, when I want it, and who I want it with.
Jett can keep saying this all he wants…but you will see something so different. He wants you to believe that he is in control of his emotions, in that there are none. Goldie brings out something in him and gives him a run for his money
“I call the shots, remember?” “And I hold the cards,” she said.
These two aren’t the only ones that you will come to love while reading. There is Kace, Jett’s right hand man and lifelong friend, there are the other Jett girls, each with their own personality (reallllllly want to know more about all of them ASAP) and then there are the slimy characters of Rex and Jett’s father (you really won’t like them!)
Why the fuck was I letting a little honey-haired girl get to me?
^^^^I want to know too and I can’t wait to read more!!!!
The walls of my club hold many secrets. Depravity. Sin. Justice.
Every choice you make in life comes with a consequence.
I was once on top, I was the professional boxer to be afraid of. I had everything I could possibly hope for. I was happy, satisfied, content . . . until one night.
One off day.
One wrong reaction.
I killed a man. The sound, the blood, the stagnant air, it’s forever imprinted in my mind and now dictates the way I live my life.
Desolate with nothing but my penance to pay, I didn’t expect to have my world flipped upside down when Lyla seductively strutted into my life.
I want her. I need her. I crave her.
But I don’t deserve her.
People like to celebrate the day they were born, I like to celebrate the day my soul died.
This is my story of repentance.
