Irreverent, cocky, playful and naughty.
He’s not the guy you date.
He’s the one night stand.
The one your mother warned you about.
The one your body craves.
You’d think the man who called me succulent would want to strip me down and spread me out on his bed—like he’s done with countless others.
But he passed on my offer….
Just like I’d once passed on his.
He’s wary, like I am.
He’s broken, like I am.
And everyone knows two broken parts can’t ever make a whole.
Tahoe and I are strictly friends.
So I distract myself with other men.
He doesn’t think my new man is good enough. This blond blue-eyed beast doesn’t think any man is—himself included.
But the more time we spend together, the more confused I feel.
I’m trying to open myself to love.
Yet I’m quickly realizing that the only man I want is Tahoe Roth.
The one man who will surely break my heart.
A sexy new Manwhore series standalone contemporary romance from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Katy Evans.
If you’re in the mood for a hot, slow burn kinda love story, Ladies Man will fit the bill! This book had me all hot and bothered and I kinda felt like I was gonna combust with the lust that kept building, building, building!!!
Meet Tahoe Roth. You know his kind… the wham, bam thank you man kind that will have you dropping your panties faster than a a speeding bullet. He has eyes that will melt you, a body that will slay you, words that will have you falling to your knees. He is a notorious ladies man with lines of women waiting to have their turn.
Tahoe and Gina meet through Saint and Rachel from the Manwhore series. This book can definitely be read as a standalone, although why you wouldn’t you want to meet Saint is a whole other story. Anyway, Tahoe is one of Saint’s closest friends and Gina is Rachel’s bestie. The heat and chemistry between these two is evident from their first meeting. But Tahoe doesn’t do relationships and Gina is looking for her happily ever after filled with the husband, white picket fence, and 2.5 kids. Their wants are so completely opposite and there is no getting around that.
They become very close, with a bond that can’t be broken and a friendship that is not worth ruining. So they keep it in the “friend zone” knowing that if they cross the line, their friendship would be awkward and yeah, so not worth going there.
The push and pull between these two characters created angst only an angst whore would love. I found myself on the verge of the BIG O just listening to the banter between these two. Katy sets the stage perfectly, you want them to just jump into bed together but at the same time, their friendship is so amazing that you’re almost afraid to see it ruined.
With both Tahoe and Gina’s pasts, your heart can’t help but break for these two. Everything they’ve been through and the heartache they endured really makes you understand why things need to remain the way they do. But, GOD, the buildup is just there and you just want to jump into the story and force them to open their eyes and realize they truly are perfect for one another.
This story was just what I needed. I fell in love with Tahoe Roth just as I do with every character Katy creates. He is so damn hot, so freakin SWOONWORTHY, once again I found myself wanting him just for ME!
Katy’s writing will have you panting, craving, wanting, NEEDING to just have your imagination run wild and envisioning yourself in Tahoe’s bed. He is that edible.
Right there, Tahoe.
Insert Meg Ryan’s orgasm scene here and that would be me, only it’s a real one! You get the picture!!! ;)
So with all that being said and not giving too much away, this is a LADIES MAN you are going to want to have in your bed. By yourself or with a BOB and your vivid imagination. You will not be disappointed ladies!!!
