From the New York Times bestselling author of the Fall Away series who never fails to deliver a “powerfully written contemporary love story…”*
Former tennis player Easton Bradbury is trying to be the best teacher she can be, trying to reach her bored students and trying to forget her past. What brought her to this stage in her life isn’t important. She can’t let it be. But now one parent-teacher meeting may be her undoing…
Meeting Tyler Marek for the first time makes it easy for Easton to see why his son is having trouble in school. The man knows how to manage businesses and wealth, not a teenage boy. Or a young teacher, for that matter, though he tries to. And yet…there is something about him that draws Easton in—a hint of vulnerability, a flash of attraction, a spark that might burn.
Wanting him is taboo. Needing him is undeniable. And his long-awaited touch will weaken Easton’s resolve—and reveal what should stay hidden…
Omg!!! YES!!! THIS!!! Click it. READ IT!!!! This book was absolutely fabulous. From the start till the very end!!! It’s hot and steamy yet there is an amazing story line weaving throughout the scorching fire that these two create.
“Ah, Ah!” she gasped, her eyes pinching together in sweet pain.
“Goddamn it,” I moaned. “You fell so fucking good. The first fucking thrust is always the best. “
Easton Bradbury and Tyler Marek meet and from that point on you’re hooked and sink into this story. No escape!!!!
Their relationship shouldn’t work, they shouldn’t try, it’s wrong and yet it feels so right!!!
Easton’s past makes her closed off and unyielding. She is a first year teacher trying to find her footing when Mr. Marek barrels into her live and turns it upside down.
Tyler Marek, driven to success, strives for perfection and yet fails in life as he tries to find what’s important. Easton fuels a fire in him that he never knew existed and makes him question everything he believes and lives for. In the midst of all his trying to save a non-existent and failed relationship with his teenage son. Surely screwing his teacher is not the way to go about it.
“But you know why I want the hot little teacher in New Orleans?” I taunted, looking down into her eyes, ” because she fucking gives me what I want better than anyone else.”
Penelope Douglas perfectly intertwined an addictive steamy taboo affair with current issues as politics, education and social media. She also introduces the readers to New Orleans, it will make you want to get on a plane to take the #MisconductTourOfNOLA. Maybe we can do a Schmexy Girls Trip after you all read it. Winks… ;)

Loved everything about it. My heart swooned, soared, squeezed in hurt and beat in a happy pitter patter singing I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!!
