Warning: This is not a “typical love story”. This is an all-consuming, soul-crushing, tear-your-heart-into-pieces story. It’s intense, gritty and raw, dark and disturbing, and it doesn’t happen overnight. This is an epic love story that knows no boundaries and has no time limits. It grows and develops—with hurt, sacrifice, and heartache—over the span of a lifetime.
Eva Fox is the princess of the Silver Demons Motorcycle Club. Growing up with bikers in the club lifestyle is all that she knows. When she’s a young girl, Eva meets the reason for her existence. Deuce West is the sexy, biker bad-ass of the Hell’s Horsemen Motorcycle Club. Like Eva, he was born and raised in the club—but that’s where the similarities end. Their first meeting is innocent, but as Eva matures into a woman, their chance reunions evolve into a fit of lust and love. Fate continues to bring them together time and time again, but their twisted journey is filled with pain, betrayal, and bloodshed that could tear them apart. Eva sees in Deuce what he cannot see in himself—a man worthy of love—and Eva spends her lifetime proving to him that her undeniable love is the one thing he can’t live without.
This is Eva and Deuce’s story.
It wasn’t easy.
Nothing worth doing ever is.
And love is worth everything.
Two words….HOLY FUCK! I really enjoyed Undeniable, although I will admit I was unsure when I first read it. It is an extremely intense and graphic book and it took me by surprise. When I was finished reading it with my Schmexy Book Club we began our discussions and the more I talked about Undeniable the more I realized that I really did like it. Madeline Sheehan is amazeballs and this gut wrenching story of Deuce and Eva proves that.
Ok…here we go! Eva and Deuce meet for the first time when she is 5 and he is…hold on to your hats…23! I read that and was like WTF have I gotten myself into?! Eva is this spunky little thing visiting her daddy in jail and Deuce is this sweet guy who chats it up with her.
“I’m gonna be the club Queen ’cause I’m gonna marry the biggest, scariest biker in the whole world, and he’s gonna let me do whatever I want because he’s gonna love me like crazy.”
The beautiful man turned to face me and leaned forward.
“I’m gonna hold you to that,” he whispered.
Even at such a young age Eva knows that Deuce is the most beautiful man she has ever seen, she is truly smitten with him. The two meet sporadically over the course of many years. Each time they meet the sexual tension grows and grows. There are several explicit scenes that kinda freaked me out because of the age difference but I some how really liked how Deuce and Eva lost all control around each other despite it.
As Eva got older it was easier for me to handle. I was entranced by entering the world of bikers…it was intriguing and disgusting and sexy all rolled into one messy plot. Deuce was actually a complete ass throughout most of the book but that did not deter me from rooting for them to work out. He knows what he is doing is wrong and he is confusing as all fuck with his feelings and his actions.
“Whatever this shit is between us, it’s always been there, and it’s always gonna be there. I’m shit-fuckin’ tired tryin’ to ignore it. I’ll try to do right by you, Eva. You’d be the first, but I’ll fuckin’ try my damnedest. And, baby, true freedom is the open road, wind in your face, and a good woman on the back of your bike, holdin’ you tight like you’re her reason for breathin’ because she sure as fuck is yours.”
I mean….WOW! It’s not a straightforward “I love you” but in the world of Deuce it’s what he has to offer. Eva puts up with a lot of shit but she handles what is dealt to her, sometimes gracefully and other times not so much. Madeline…..YOU ROCK! I am going to be reading Unbeautifully soon so that I can see what she has in store for us next.
