When a family crisis strikes, Reese is forced into the arms of the wrong man. How will she comfort him when she longs to be with his brother?
Only Ever You is the second book in the three-book A Little Like Destiny series. This series must be read in order:
- A Little Like Destiny
- Only Ever You
- Clean Break – Coming October 26, 2017
Only Ever You….famous last words. This series has me all over the place. We pick up right where we left off in A Little Like Destiny (which BTW if you haven’t read you should stop now, read it, then come back here!) Reese slept with Mark, in Brian’s bed….and cue the craziness!
Reese drove me absolutely bonkers in this book. Like to the point where I wanted to claw her eyes out. This time around we learn so much more about Mark. How he really feels, what his intentions are, the song her wrote for Reese.
“Please stop. Stop playing this game. You won’t win.” He smiles sadly. “It’s not a game.”
While I don’t agree with how they go about things I’m rooting for things to work out for them. There is something about Brian that I am really not so sure about. Something made me not want to trust him and I’m losing faith in his love for Reese.
Lack of communication is major in this story, but it’s all by choice. They each choose to hide things, avoid certain topics and divert the real issues. Then things only go from bad to worse, family gets involved, tragedy strikes, there are lies, lies and more lies. As frustrating as Only Ever You was, I’m craving more. I need more, I need to see it through to the end. I’m highly anticipating the conclusion of this love triangle!!
“I’m caught looking between brothers as I debate who might need me more.”
