We are excited to bring you the cover reveal for the third and final book in the Perfect series, PRESENTLY PERFECT, scheduled for release on November 6th!!
Perfection is an illusion fueled by the perception of others.
Tweet was my heart, my soul, and my purpose.
She was my everything.
Neither of us were perfect. We both made mistakes. Looking back, that was okay, because every choice brought us to where we needed to be at the time we needed to be there. The one constant, our love and friendship.
There are two sides to every story and I wouldn’t trade our sides for anything in the world.
I am in LOVE with this book. I want to memorize every word, every feeling, and every emotion I felt while I read. Alison brought me Noah and hearing his words and feelings gave me everything I wanted and more. She is one of those authors who will capture your heart and give you the FEELS! I laughed, I cried, I SWOONED! I know they say that nothing is perfect, but in this case, they’re wrong. This book was perfect. It’s not a retelling, you get so much more to their story. Noah and Tweet have a love that will speak to you. He is at the very top of my Book Boyfriend list!
Most of us met Noah and Tweet in Past Imperfect. They grew up together, best friends always there for each other and they both have strong feelings for each other. Too afraid to ruin their friendship, Tweet holds back not wanting to ruin what they have. Noah will stop at nothing to prove how he feels about Tweet. He wishes more than anything that she would let go of her fears and hand over her heart. He loves her so much… they fit together like a puzzle.
“That intangible connection where the mystery of falling in love waits until the right person comes into your life. You can’t force it, predict it, or manipulate it. It’s what trips your heart in order for the fall to begin. My heart was tripped eighteen years ago and had been falling ever since.”
Their lives are entwined in every way possible. Noah tries to stay in the “friend zone” with Tweet and keeps himself busy with baseball, hanging out with friends (I LOVE TRAVIS!!! HE NEEDS A BOOK BTW!), and unfortunately does see other girls. Specifically one named Brittani who I wanted to throttle. Her and her stupid big boobs, colgate white smile and bouncy blonde hair, I just wanted to bitch-slap her. Talk about a slurry mole, let me get my car so I can run her over with it!! But the sick part of me loves all that. The angst, the push and pull, the emotional roller coaster I went through.
My heart went through the ringer. I cried AGAIN and AGAIN. Big fat ugly tears.
“I want to start and end each day with you by my side. I want to make a home with you Tweet.”
Noah is, by far, just SWOONWORTHY. Yes, he has faults, everyone does. But you just want to squeeze him and love him and jump his beautiful body. God, he is that HOT!!! Look out Tweet, I may just steal him from you!!!!
But honestly, knowing this is the last book in the series, I tried to savor every word. I don’t want it to be over. I don’t want to say goodbye. I will miss these characters so much. I feel like they’re my friends. Alison had a difficult task in writing a book that was fresh with new material, one that would fill your heart the way Present Perfect did. She did it. She knocked it out of the park. Home run. Fantastic ending to the series. I don’t want it to be over!! And can I just say hands down that Alison writes the MOST INCREDIBLE epilogues. I loved everything about Presently Perfect. Do not miss it!!!
