Emmy Clarke is out of her depth in New York City’s fashion world, but when she lands a job as an assistant at a modeling agency it seems like the perfect mix of business and pleasure. Working under the notorious Fiona Stone is a nightmare, but there’s one distinct perk: ogling the ridiculously hot male models who parade through the office—particularly rising star Ben Shaw.
Ben is everything Emmy’s not: exquisitely gorgeous, highly paid, and well-traveled. He’s also got more issues than Vogue. Emmy looks after Ben on photo shoots, but she refuses to become another one of his lusting groupies. Ben finds Emmy’s refreshingly real attitude to be surprisingly attractive.
Against a backdrop of the most fashionable cities in the world, casual flirting turns into an illicit affair, but when Ben’s twisted past is revealed, and the bitter Fiona catches wind of their relationship, their careers and hearts are threatened.
Note: This book is intended for mature audiences. It contains sexual encounters and graphic language, including a m/f/m encounter.
“I was his. He was mine. This beautiful, damaged, intense man was mine. For better or worse, I needed to see what happened next.”
Holy mother of hotness, I couldn’t get enough of this book. Put a gorgeous male model in any equation and it was sure to be a crowd pleaser as far as I was concerned.
Ben Shaw was Status Model Management in New York City’s “It” model and Emerson Clarke aka Emmy was the assistant to the cruel, vindictive head of the agency, Fiona Stone.
Fiona and Emmy are whisked away to Paris to accompany Ben for his modeling shoots and thus behold
a secret romance blooms between Emmy and Ben. They both try to go into their relationship with a sex only feel, but ladies, do we all honestly think that once you start sleeping with a gorgeous male model, it can only be kept as just sex….Yeah, I didn’t think so. But sex is what happens in the beginning of this romance.
“One hand wound its way into my hair; the other curled around my waist. The warm weight of his hand anchored me, pulling me close until our bodies were pressed together.
The hard length of his body against mine was a thing of bliss. His skilled lips made the other men I’d kiss look like boys.”
When heated nights, flirting and sexting turns into an everyday occurrence, Ben and Emmy are faced with the possibility that they may love one another despite the totally different leagues the other is in. But boy was I totally routing for Emmy, because let’s face it; I totally wanted to be in her shoes in this damn book. I think we all want to be that girl that is wined and dined by an uber-sexy model, shit I definitely do if y’all don’t. I would gladly take her life in a damn heartbeat.
But its secrets between Fiona and Ben are what slice the relationship that Ben and Emmy have to its very core. Fiona has stooped to different levels to have Ben as her own. So can Ben and Emmy
have what they always knew was between them or is it the secrets that are enough to keep them
“It had been a month since I’d seen him, but my body still knew when he was
near. The skin on the back of my neck tingled and my hands curled around my middle, like my body was preparing itself to fall apart.”
So again, to all of you that have not read this book, run don’t walk to buy and then read this book.
Kendall Ryan hit a grand slam with this and ladies I am a firm believer that if you want something bad enough, you shall receive and therefore I am going to start hard core wanting to be with a sexy ass male model, but shhhh…don’t tell my husband!!!
Romance author. Shamelessly addicted to bad boys, kissing and steamy romance novels brimming with dark, angsty tension.
